Twinkling Stars–The Great Gatsby Written By Caitlin Yatsuhashi

Posted: October 16, 2014 in Uncategorized

His persistent stare,
Twinkled, collecting jewels of,
Gods truth,
Promising.
All the mystery and beauty in the world,

Unconvincing lies,
Came crumbling down.
Lifting the costume,
To reveal gleams of beauty.

The moment.
Was absolutely perfect,
No lies or changing dresses.
No fear.
Just the bare emotions,
Twinkling.
Like stars.

Note: All the words used in this poem were taken out of the book the Great Gatsby, and reorganized to create this.
